October 7 2023 Who is telling the truth?

I don’t know what I can add to what others with a bigger platform have said, but I have sizeable following myself and cannot remain silent! I’ve yet to find anyone who has failed to condemn Hamas but pro-Israel apologists continue to demand we should do so while failing to condemn the Israeli government. I want to make it clear that I’m not condemning all Israelis, relatives of those held as hostages by Hamas are among those demanding a ceasefire.

United Nations General Secretary António Guterres called it correctly when he called for a ceasefire, and was immediately subjected to personal abuse from Israeli politicians 😠

Egyptian intelligence reported that an attack by Hamas was imminent yet Israel, with all its high tech security system, failed to prevent it. Why?

Survivors of the Hamas attack have stated they were not deliberately targeted but the intention was to use them as bait to lure their real enemies into a trap. Sadly it backfired as the IDF came in firing indiscriminately, more intent on killing Hamas militants than rescuing their own citizens – many of whom were killed in the crossfire.

The same thing is being replicated in Gaza now. We continually hear demands for hostages to be released as a condition of a ceasefire, but those hostages that have already been released have stated they were treated well. Hamas shared what food they had but those remaining will have nothing! The Israeli government is showing that it’s own citizens are just as expendable as Palestinians in it’s search for domination over the Middle East.

The western media have not been willing to raise even a single question about what happened on October 7. They have enthusiastically attributed every horror that day to Hamas. They have ignored the reality of utter chaos that reigned for many hours and the potential for poor, desperate and morally dubious decision-making by the Israeli military.

Jonathan Cook

Sunak and Starmer both want to stifle dissident voices and forbid any discussion of the situation, fortunately there are a few MPs and party officials who refuse to be silenced. https://open.substack.com/pub/jonathancook/p/this-is-a-moment-of-great-moral-clarity?utm_campaign=post&utm_medium=email

Jonathan Cook: This is a moment of great moral clarity

McDonald’s comments were offensive because he took the “From the river to the sea” slogan and removed any doubt that it was anything other than a call for peace. Zionists love to pretend “From the river to the sea” is a call for Israelis to be exterminated, but McDonald had the audacity to ask that Israelis and Palestinians live in peaceful liberty.

Council Estate Media

We’re not only being lied to in the media, the truth is being turned on it’s head. This tweet from Sun columnist Douglas Murray, with my response, speaks for itself. I’d never heard of him previously but he’s trending at present after writing an article in the Jewish Chronicle comparing the Nazis favourably to Hamas.

Suella Braverman has sunk to the depths of insanity in condemning pro-Palestinian marches as “Hate Marches” when she exudes hatred from every pore. People Braverman hates are:

  • Immigrants, unless they’re her parents
  • Unemployed people, especially if they’re homeless
  • Disabled people, it’s not her responsibility if you need a bit more support to be able to contribute to the economy.
  • Pensioners dependant on State Pension: You’ve lived long enough and you’re just a drain on the economy. If you can’t work until you’re 70 then hurry up and die!
  • “Lefty lawyers” who have the audacity to question the legality of her Tory policies.

There was some disturbance at the Cenotaph, provoked rather than predicted by Braverman, but it’s not easy to disentangle all the conflicting accounts. It appears that the Two Minutes Silence was observed uninterrupted, thanks largely to the Met Police preventing the mob from getting close “to pay their respects”, but it flared up afterwards. Who started it depends on who you believe, on this occasion I choose to believe the police and reserve my criticism for later.

Here’s the official police account https://x.com/metpoliceuk/status/1723441827045421499?s=61&t=IZiTSaiaMOgVGPIMX2DC_Q

Once those who had answered the call to “defend the Cenotaph” realised that the peace protesters weren’t going to turn up, with police monitoring the situation. This didn’t please the mob at all, they thought the police were biased (they often are but were just trying to keep the peace in this case). One sympathetiser complained to me “but what if they get attacked by a protester?” To which the correct answer would’ve been “if you don’t want trouble don’t go looking for it!”

It’s not reasonable to expect peaceful protesters to initiate violence although, according to the Met Police, there was a small breakaway group of 150 (among hundreds of thousands) and some arrests were made. There were 126 arrests in total but breakdown of how many were right-wing thugs and how many had joined the march with the intention of disrupting it.

UPDATE: Palestine Solidarity have confirmed there were 800,000 marching for peace, I’m sure the Jewish contingent alone would have outnumbered the breakaway mob of 150!

The police appear to have behaved creditably on this occasion despite Braverman’s attempt to take command, but I don’t know why they want to identify this lady simply for holding up a placard! I totally agree with the sentiment.

Let’s not forget amidst all the chaos that Joe Biden, with the compliance of our sycophantic government and what passes for an opposition, is aiding and abetting Israeli war crimes while Julian Assange remains incarcerated in Belmarsh awaiting extradition for exposing US war crimes.
