Dr. Julia Patterson, founder of Every Doctor, gave up her medical career to campaign for the NHS and, more recently, Gaza. She’s been trolled relentlessly for doing so – I saw one sexist tweet which questioned whether she would get so much support if she weren’t an attractive young woman 🙄 Recent tweets suggest that this constant trolling is wearing her down, although she has the support of a loving husband.
