It was Lorna who first named this group of friends Mike’s Gang although she’s a relative newcomer. I thought it appropriate to introduce everyone properly 😀

Andy and I are the last remaining members of a former group on Twitter who called ourselves The Waltons, because we had a habit of saying “goodnight” to each other like the closing sequence of the TV series 😅

Grace and Pablo were some of my earliest followers and took over the task of posting inspirational quotes when I decided that I no longer wished to post them daily as I once did.

John was my very first follower on Twitter and we’re still friends after all these years 😊 We were united in opposition to HS2 and found another shared interest in our love of folk music 🎶

Eileen is a friend with whom I shared a page on Facebook and we’ve recently been reunited on Bluesky, the only platform we both use.

Daibhi is from my hometown but currently living in Scotland, he’s been quiet lately 🤔

Vam is like a sister, a year and a few a days older than me. We think so much alike and like the same things.

Susie is a former colleague from when were writing for Critical Mass Magazine. We’ve worked together before and hope to do so again.

I also hope to work with Charlotte when I figure out how to manage it, and I support Paula in her work. I hope they can take some encouragement from my lighthearted posts.

Members of Mike’s Gang are not required to enjoy the same things, with one exception – appreciation of Nerine’s comedy is a definite requirement 😂
