I’ve recently had to prove to a bot almost daily that I’m human before posting to X, today I’ve been locked out and it might take a week to get back in, by which time I’ll no longer have a blue tick. I’ld be grateful if anyone reading this message would pass it on to mutual friends who haven’t migrated to Bluesky yet.

I’ve had quite an interesting day on t’other side. On the one hand I had an interesting conversation with ‘50s women who’ve had to wait for their pensions, CEDAWinLAW not WASPI. 3/4 male pensioners in the conversation were on their side.

On the other hand I’ve had a lot of right wing nutters moaning that they’re not allowed to see the face of the driver who ploughed into a group of people in Liverpool. They refuse to accept the police statement that he’s white and want visible proof that he’s not Muslim even if it means jeopardising a future prosecution. X does shield me from being notified of abusive replies to my post, but I see them anyway and couldn’t help but respond to some of them. I don’t know if this has owt to do with my account being locked, apparently a lot of people are having a similar problem.

I’m working on a blog for #SocialistSunday that is basically a continuation of the last one. If I don’t have access to my X account by then I may need help sharing with friends on t’other side. It’s really quite annoying as I can’t share directly to Bluesky from YouTube or my WordPress
