The United States’ Director of National Intelligence Tulsi Gabbard told Congress in March, “Iran is not building a nuclear weapon and Supreme leader Khomeini has not authorized the nuclear weapons programme that he suspended in 2003.” 

The truth is that Israel already has a nuclear weapon and has not signed the Nuclear Nonproliferation Agreement, Iran has signed and was about to sign a new deal with the USA when Trump pulled the plug!

Israel has already initiated the Hannibal Directive, murdering its own citizens rather than allow them to be taken prisoner by Hamas. Now there’s talk of taking the Samson Option, pulling down the temple around their own head if it means the destruction of their enemy. Israel doesn’t have weapons powerful enough to breach Iranian defences so they’re relying on the USA to do it for them. It’s MAD, Mutually Assured Destruction, but what should we expect from two maniacs hoping to avoid prison for the crimes they’ve already committed by committing more? Yeah, Netenyahu is still facing charges of corruption but Trump is a convicted criminal sending his thugs to kidnap and deport anyone who disagrees with him. Al Capone would have been so proud!

What is most worrying is that our sycophantic government is going along with it, even sending RAF planes

I have had an email from my MP, a Labour Friend of Israel, about what Labour is doing for peace in Gaza. At first glance it looks encouraging, and he does keep me updated on cases I have emailed him about, but the devil is in the details. Here are some of the things he says Labour has done:

• Formally changing the position of the UK government to support a ceasefire.
• Being clear with the Israeli government that the extent of human suffering is unacceptable.
• Banning arms sales to Israel which might be used offensively in Gaza.
• Sanctioning far-right Israeli Ministers.
• Condemning illegal Israeli settlements as a violation of international law. 
• Working with international partners to build a consensus for peace and a path to Palestinian statehood. 

Weasel words intended to give the impression that the government is doing something while doing bugger all! Words without action are “full of sound and fury, signifying nothing!”

I’m saddened to see a friend of mine echoing Farage’s declaration calling on Palestine Action to be proscribed as a terrorist organisation after activists sprayed an RAF plane with red paint. This is an insult to the memory of my father who died when the V-bomber he was flying was sabotaged. I was only 9 years old at the time, I’m now 76, and will never know if he would have dropped the bomb if ordered to do so. I’ve asked my MP to challenge Farage on this issue.

Palestine Solidarity should be commended for exposing a breach of RAF security that could’ve cost lives if carried out by real terrorists.
